The Church of the Christianity Céleste. What is - it that
it is? Another new sect as we will be said. Which is the reason
to be? There is not already enough
Of religions referring to the Christ? Here is another new confusion
in the religious world.
Is not - it not there Samuel OSCHOFFA's aberration
proclaiming itself Seer? Where from come to him(her) these ideas?
Will one ever speak about Seer in Africa? Ever can one find good
things in the Dahomey? Here is so much comment, moreover justifiable
of quite persons wishing sincerely religious unity and rebelling
against any new sect.
However, fact is there, tangible, inevitable
and irreversible. Indeed, Christianity Céleste did not go
out of any religion mother or of any some sect. It(he) pleased God,
in front of the multitudes of more or less sectarian religions introduced
on the African ground, to give in Africa this primitive Church,
tinged with the blood of the martyrs, this spotless Church or wrinkle,
Wife of JESUS CHRIST: The star of the "CROSSDOG", the
Lamb of God, the Cliff of our safety, the Big Doctor, the unique(only)
son of God, the one Only that can save us from our sins.
Naturally, world is mistaken the truth, it
laughs at sick efforts, as it laughed formerly at the jaw of ass
in the hand of SAMSON and David's sling in front of a Goliath.
Indeed, there is disproportion between forces
in presence, but is the weakest really the one that one believes?
We are invincible, because our present and
our future are in the hands of the one that of a single grain(bead)
can appear an ear of thirty, sixty or hundred grains(beads).
We invite so all what look for simplicity
and for humility in the Christian cult, and same all what are already
anchored profoundly in a conviction and " which are will ever
change > > to make without prejudices and without prejudices
a critical and objective exam of the Christianity Céleste,
of the doctrine of the safety, its cult and its organization in
the light of the Bible, God's word.
Christianity Céleste is a primitive
Christian Church, it is the Church of the Christ. All the believers(regular
customers) carry(wear) the name of Chrétien.
The naming of Christianity Céleste comes from the vision
by which Jesus announced to our dreamers that the members of this
assembly will like him(it) as make him(it) the angels in the sky.
Christianity Céleste is a Christian
religion recognized by the State and officially authorized by decision
n ° 2252 / A.P.A. of 5/10/1956.
The seat is in Porto Novo (Dahomey, the former(ancient)
name of Benin), district Kandévié, near the Toffa-1er
, B.p secondary school. 180.
She(it) is inspired by God by the demonstration
of the Holy Spirit in the middle of the believers(regular customers).
The doctrinal education is and remains based on the Holy Bible,
the only book of the truth, the progress and the safety for the
people.
The Church of the Christianity Céleste
has the vocation to make to God the cult which is due to him(her)
under a shape humble and full of devotion excluding any practices
or satanic, superstitious or animistic faiths. Worships dedicated
in quite other that to God are opposite in the basic principles.
She asserts her will to cooperate in the peace,
the friendship and the brotherhood with all the churches which refer
to the Christ, which share her ideal of freedom of cult, social
justice, human solidarity on the basis of the principles of equality,
mutual interest and the mutual respect of the autonomy of every
religion.
THE FOUNDER OF the CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST
My name is Samuel Biléou Joseph OSCHOFFA.
I was born in 1909 in Porto Novo. My father
is Protestant and names Joseph OSCHOFFA. It(he) exercised the profession
of carpenter.
My mother, saleswoman of tissues, names Fohoun.
My father had lost several very young children.
IT(HE) survived only a girl, my big sister, named Elisabeth.
However, my father did not lose confidence.
It(he) sent piously to God; the supplicant to grant(tune) him(her)
a boy whom he would put in the service of the Eternal if he survived.
When it(he) was fulfillled, he gave me Samuel's name and added in
aid of the assistance(audience) a name Yoruba < < Biléou
> > what means < < please remaining here low, stays.
Should the opposite occur, turn(return) to the Lord. As for I had
dedicated you to the Eternal before even your birth > >.
In 1916, when I had seven years, my father
held his promise and confided me to a Protestant catechist, Mr.
Moses GNANSOUNOU (district Zèbou), father of the fire Nathaniel
A. GNANSOUNOU, to assume my education. But I was too young and it
was obliged still to keep(guard) me until the age of 13 years. Then,
it(he) put back(handed) me in 1928 to the Minister David Hodonou
Loko to whom it(he) let know the promise made for God to leave me
in the service of the Eternal.
Pupil at the Protestant school (district Houèzoumè),
I was internal at the Minister's Loko's. We were several classmates
of whom the eminent evangelist GNANSOUNOU Nathaniel known well in
the Church of the heavenly Christianity. During six years, I made
my primary studies until the average class(course) 2ém year.
Our education was rough. I had no physical force which it was necessary
to continue and escaped me to join my father. Any attempts of this
last one to put back(hand) me to my boss failed. Exceeded(irritated)
and discouraged, it(he) had to leave me with the studio. Indeed
my father was a carpenter.
I had so avoided(fled) force for the force.
But I resigned myself and obtained my liberation after four years
from learning. Then I continued to exercise profession in the same
studio as my father. But on June 15, 1939, my father died. It is
then that I got rid of the exhausting work by abandoning the joiner's
workshop one YEAR LATER
.
So, I interessai more particularly in the municipal brass band where
I was a trumpeter of living on my father.
A bit further, I noticed that this trumpeter's
situation was very precarious and I me resolved to be engaged in
the business of the ebony. And so has to leave of November, 1946,
I began to cross(go through) the villages of the valley of the river
ouémé. They are villages buried in big wildernesses
and very remote from big centres. But one discovered to it a lot
of ebony. I had got used to going everywhere with my Bible and I
made regularly my prayers.
BIRTH OF the CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST
One day (it was in May, 1947), I was in the
forest having crossed the river Ouémé. My piroguier
took itself of violent stomach pains. We had no help. Confident
in the Eternal, I took my Bible, prayed, imposed my hand on the
womb of the patient. Some minutes later, it(he) felt relieved. Stricken
with fear, it(he) confessed me that it(he) had for the lunch drawn
deliberately from the frying which I had taken in my tours. He added
that I have to be a bizarre man, reason for which the penalty of
the obnoxious act had not be waited. Then it(he) saved himself leaving
me alone between the water and the forest. I did not know how to
either swim, or lead(drive) a dugout. Willy-nilly, I was inexorably
condemned to live(remain) on the spot until a possible help. Nevertheless,
I was not afraid. At night, I lit a fire to warm itself and I prayed
ardently. The third day of this desperate situation, exactly on
MAY 22, 1947, it(he) had eclipse of the sun. Since my birth, same
event had occurred in the Dahomey. I was alone in the forest. I
became afraid and threw(cast) myself in knees, closed eyes to pray.
In necks of my prayer, I heard(understood) clearly a voice(vote)
who said to me: " Luli, Luli, " and the explanation which
followed: " Grace(favour) ". When I opened eyes, I lived
in front of me, in my big bewilderment: a winged white monkey sat(based)
on its séant. It(he) had two teeth in the upper jaw and two
others in the lower jaw. (One would say that it is he which(who)
had pronounced words Luli and grace(favour)). In my right-hand side
and ready to bite itself, I saw a small brown snake. It(he) had
the very swollen neck surmounted with a small head. (One would say
a rattlesnake). Without fear to be bitten, I seize him(it) by the
snare, caressed(cherished) him(it) and loosened him(it) quietly.
Then, a little aside, I saw a very beautiful bird. It(he) had the
sharp wings and the colored feathers. Its pastas and the beak are
of yellow one given(given) lustre. It(he) made the wheel and a lot
looked like a peacock. One moment after these animals disappeared
under my eyes. Nevertheless, my odyssey had to last three months.
I did not more have anything to me to put under the tooth. I saw
henceforth only water and some honey which I harvested by burning
the hives of bees. I was transformed, and lived from now on without
fear in the prayer and the reading of my Bible.
But a fateful day, the stream put itself in
flood and almost took my frail boat. I resolved to throw(cast) myself
into the dugout confiding in the Eternal. Of roulis in roulis, banging
in the hillocks of brambles and boughs which appeared some water,
my dugout failed the second day near the village called " AGONGUE
" in ADJOHON's sub-prefecture.
In my descent, the first man whom I met was
a fellow countryman named YESSOUFOU. It(he) became afraid. Indeed,
noise had run(roamed) that I was lost for more than three months
and that certainly, I had died.
As I went into the village, one named KOULIHO,
near the house where I lived was dying, seriously ill and quite
swelled. I went to the house, I prayed with force and confidence,
by imposing him(her) hands in the name of Jesus Christ. To my big
satisfaction and to the big surprise of everybody, the dying sneezed,
shook its members and sat down. Named Kouliho, due to God, lives
even today.
My fellow countryman YESSOUFOU ran(roamed)
to announce in Porto Novo where he had seen me, similar to a madman,
the ruffled hair, the chin embroussaillé, a madman who, curious
thing(matter), resuscitates the deaths.
When later, I arrived at Porto Novo, I had
become a curiosity, and crowd followed me everywhere where I passed.
One day my big sister, Madam GOUTON Elisabeth,
been born OSHOFFA, came to see me. She(it) cried: His(her) son Mawugnon
Emmanuel was a patient and any hope was lost. Already, a lot of
quacks had tried their power and had
Even elected place of residence at my sister. However, nothing promised.
I went(surrendered) in the house, took out the quacks and crossed(spent)
a night of prayer in the head of the patient. (Let us remind in
passing that this one became the first dreamer of the Church of
the Christianity Céleste).
Finally, on SEPTEMBER 29, 1947, I visited
my friend, Sir
ZEVOUNOU Frédéric, and his(her) woman(wife). When
housekeeping escorted me, on the road of return, we met the members
of the Church of the Cherubs and Seraphs who celebrated Saint Michel.
Then, Frédéric proposed me a session of prayer to
thank God of the grace(favour) that he been able to to obtain from
the Lord by my intermediary.
We returned at home and we put in knees. I
had been born Protestant and was in the habit of closing eyes to
pray. On my invitation, the others made it also. In the heart of
the prayer, I saw in front of me a big light similar to a lighthouse
of automobile. I was dazzled but continued to look. Behind this
big light which decreased in intensity, I lived, similar to a human
being, a glittering being whose sharp eyes sparkled and with whom
feet not resting(basing) on the ground shone of a particular brightness.
I was afraid and trembled with all my being.
But the man says to me: " are not afraid, the Lord of all the
creation wants to load(charge) you with a mission. Of any time,
the people liked me, but all did not enter my realm because in tests
(disease, anxieties, confusions, difficulties variously, etc.) they
resorted to satanic works (idols, magic, gri-grey, quacks, soothsayers,
etc. …) and when they died, I did not receive them any more
because they had as well drunk in the cup(cutting) of Almighty God
as in that of Satan. It makes pity, but to avoid now on same lot(fate)
to my admirers, I load(charge) you, you Samuel OSCHOFFA to base
a religion members of which will like only God.
" World will not believe that the Lord
showed himself to you but I shall be with you and my angels also
and I shall accompany your works of miracles, signs, miracles so
that he believes: oh son(thread) of man, be confident, do not be
afraid of anything, know that we are in the last days. This church
will be the last boat to bring the people to the safety. Because
I return soon. "
When I opened eyes, Madam ZEVOUNOU Marie was
stunned. She(it) also, during our prayer had had a terrifying vision.
" I saw, she(it) said, a big wood in shape of cross. On this
cross, I saw a man who carried(wore) a crown of thorns; of the hands
and feet as well as from his part left(awkward) oozed from some
blood. And strange thing(matter) still, it(he) came down(fell) some
wood, took you by the hand and led(drove) you in a beautiful and
magnificent room(chamber) which I could not describe, dressed(took
on) you in a white dress strewed with twinkling stars. Your eyes
shone so that one would say the sun to the top. But when I opened
eyes, I still see you here, in the same place. Why it? "
We are all amazed at our respective visions.
We parted silently, mutes and without any reaction. But at night,
I may close the eye. The angels came down(fell) to dictated to me
orders, revealed me things which I wrote.
The morning at 10 o'clock, twelve young people who liked playing
the Domino " Adji " in the same district ( Dogri) as Mister
ZEVOUNOU came to see me. They had been informed by Mister ZEVOUNOU
of our vision of the day before. Unbelieving, they ran(roamed) towards
my place of residence; hardly they had returned that seven of them
fell in ecstasy and are mirrored to confirm what Marie Zevounou
and myself had seen. The five others became afraid and ran away
in the district Zevou to bring back(report) what they had just seen.
There was a tumult in the city and people ran up everywhere to see
what happened. From Monday till Saturday, there were more than 200
persons of whom some in ecstasy sang God's praises. I was exceeded(irritated)
and exhausted be having passed thirteen days without rest and without
sleep as a result of successive visions. I withdrew to pray. Some
companions joined me with the housekeeping Zevounou. When we had
left our place of pension fitted out for the occasion, Marie Zevounou
in full city entered ecstasy and begun singing and walking(working)
in steps pressed(hastened) so as to outstrip us all. I asked his(her)
husband: " you see my friend, if you do not hold(retain) your
woman(wife), we risk to be invaded by the crowd "; the husband
ran(roamed) to join her(it), but before he TAKES HER(IT) BY THE
ARM, she(it) turned around deftly and shouted: " Eli ".
Immediately Zevounou Frédéric fell. " What this?
" I exclaimed I went from surprise to surprise. Already everybody
treated me magician or knowing magician in what to attribute(award)
these different spiritual demonstrations.
The fourteenth day, I resolved to get rid
of this world which had assailed my house. I sent my friend Dominique
ADANDE with Mister GUENE then Commanding(ordering) of the Circle
of Porto Novo to ask this last one to send nurses of circle to evacuate
my house.
After the report of my messenger, the Commander(major)
of circle asked to see me to know if it was really about Samuel
OSCHOFFA, the trumpeter of the municipal brass band which he knew
very well. I appeared at the Commander(major) together with four
of my friends. I told him(her) everything, in the supplicant to
help me: " Here is no more than a week when people are in my
house. Some tell mysterious things, the others sing, the rest prays.
It(he) are more two hundred. Add to it the crowd of the curious
onlookers and the curious. I lost sleep, I do not eat any more,
help me. " The Commander(major) of circle answered: "
I can not reach your demand. I find you quite transformed. In your
sight myself I am afraid. One would say that a supernatural force
emanates from you. I am not up to intervene in this affair(business).
On the contrary, I advise you rather to invite people by circular
to come to listen to your visions. What I made and the eighth day
a large crowd was collected. I was afraid at first , but the man
whom I had seen during my vision says to me: " are not afraid,
prepare a table, on the refreshed table a cross with the image of
the crucified Christ. In front of the crucifix, light three candles.
In your right-hand side, places a dreamer, to your left another
dreamer. " (It(he) must be chosen among those that had fallen
in ecstasy to me and that did not leave me any more.) The man added:
all that you are going to say will will be inspired in you and even
answers to questions. ".
I answered: " I shall put one believe
of simple wood without image of the Christ because I am Protestant.
" He says to me: " Not, I want whether it is a real cross
with the crowned Christ, the leaky side, and the Hebraic registration
because a simple cross can be confused(merged) with that of the
crucified swindlers at the same time as Jesus or with imports only
she(it) the other cross because one crucified before Jesus. A recognizable
cross by the statue of Jesus is needed. It is a distinguishing feature
to show how the Man
God agreed to suffer and to die for the safety of the humanity ".
I made exactly as it(he) was recommended to
me. After a sort of preaching in which I told all that I had lived
up to there, we passed in question. While the first person interrogated
me, I heard(understood) him(it) very well, but of a single ear because
second was narrow-minded and buzzed. Then it opened suddenly and
I heard(understood) the voice(vote) which dictates me answer. It
is in this way that I answered any each from the beginning to the
end. After this conference, it(he) had a big tumult in the complete
city.
First Sunday of October, 1947, as I prayed
with a group of people, a woman(wife) fell in ecstasy and began
singing a chant in dialect Goun of which here is about meaning:
" religious Brothers, raise height the head etc. ". It
was from this day that Holy Spirit recommended to sing in our church
that songs given spontaneously and sung by the dreamers.
Here we are, my brothers, faithfully told,
origin and foundation of this Religion. It is not so the work of
a person in evil of overbid, or a group of people going against
such or such confession. No no my brothers, it is a divine desire,
it is supernatural.
That is why, we have no right to criticize
such or such religion referring to the Christ because we are every
servants of God.
Our sessions of prayers take place three times
a week: on Wednesday, on Friday, on Sunday.
One Wednesday so, always in October 1947,
Marie Zevounou was not for the prayer. She(it) sold to the market.
Suddenly, she(it) fell in ecstasy and was led(driven) by the Spirit
until our place of meeting. We were all lengthened(stretched out)
on the ground, the face against the ground. In front of us was a
crucifix and a lit candle. We were in full prayer when Marie Zevounou
entered. She(it) stuck the head against the wall and made us back.
Then always in ecstasy, she declared: " This day is a sacred
day says the Eternal, I shall show you just(right now) a sign. Always
ask and to fix your glances to the lit candle ". A moment later,
an ant approached the candle, began to turn quite all around. Marie
Zevounou declared, always making us back: " Here is my first
sign says the Eternal, well observe this insect ". Then the
ant always continues to turn. As soon as we had finished our prayer,
the ant jumped into the flame of the candle and died. Then the other
one came, turned even for a long time and jumped in sound everything
into the flame. Marie Zevounou declared then: " Here is the
explanation of the spectacle that
Ants offered you: It is in this way that your minister OSCHOFFA
will finish his journey(running); another minister is going to succeed
him(her), will finish in the same way et cetera till the end of
times. Happy the one that will know this religion and that will
be of use to it God until the death. Because Christianity Céleste
is a holy religion lowered(gone down) from the Sky of the hand of
the Christ. She(it) will be loaded(charged) to cleanse the whole
world. She(it) will be endowed with a force over the forces of darkness
and will operate any sorts of miracles and miracles.
" To show you that it is I the Eternal
who spoke, tomorrow there will be
Neither wind, nor rain, nor sun. The sea will stop moving. For you
to realize it, to send somebody in SOWED(SCATTERED) beach. It(he)
will return you some sand of the sea bed! With this sand, you will
be able to open eyes to the blind persons ". Then she(it) begun
singing a chant in dialect Goun of which here is explanation: "
It(he) is of our duty in all to glorify and to thank God for the
benefactions because, same insects and sand of seas glorify the
Eternal ":

The next day indeed, we sent Mister HOUKANRIN
Anatole to Sèmè-plage. It(he) meant saying to us that
really the sea was not stormy any more. One would say that she(it)
rested(based) in the heart of the washbasin. But the most scheming(intriguing)
said Anatole, it is that before to find me on the coast, I crossed
a river and was obliged to take my cycle on shoulders while in my
return, some moments later, the river had completely dried out in
the point that I crossed very easily and normally the same place
with cycle.
Today, according to the revelations which
were made, one can count more than a miracle which our Lord Jesus
Christ carried out by my intermediary.
So in the name of Jesus Christ, I had to resuscitate
more than twelve deaths who, living even at present, can give evidence
of their own mouth.
Let us hold(retain) in this particular case
some names and the circumstances in which miracle had taken place:
[ZQYW1PÚ] In Porto Novo, named TINAVIE,
wife of Mister AVOCE de Gbeloko son(thread) of Mister KOUAKANON
(district Zébouaga), had died in the hospital. The lady Tinavie
was the sister-in-law of Madam MAHULWE, been born AVOGNON then member
of our Church of which she was a dreamer.
MAHULAWE entered then ecstasy and asked to
take the body to me. And so, instead of putting down(depositing)
the dead woman in the morgue, one had transported her(it) on a stretcher
of the hospital until my place of residence. I was bewildered in
the sight of a spectacle, but in dreamer, Madam MAHULWE to exclaim:
" are not afraid, the Eternal dressed(took on) you in a force
capable of resuscitating the deaths. Impose him(her) hands and ask
the Eternal to resuscitate her(it). " What I made and the dead
woman resuscitated in the name of Jesus Christ.
[ZQYW1PÚ] Miss Léontine ZEVOUNOU,
girl of Joseph ZEVOUNOU: she(it) had died at home. The resurrection
of this girl pulled(entailed) conversion in the Christianity Céleste
of several members of its family.
[ZQYW1PÚ] Mr. Moses AFFOGNON. - We
had imposed him(her) the hand and it(he) resuscitated in the name
of Jesus Christ. Always living in Porto Novo, it(he) had five children
after this supernatural event.
[ZQYW1PÚ] Mr. Moses GOUGBE. - Chanwè's
village in Abomey-Calavi's sub-prefecture.
We resuscitated him(it) in the name of Jesus
Christ. He lives still in this village where his father is Senior
Leader of our Chanwè's church.
[ZQYW1PÚ] Madam OLUCHOLA and Melle.
Thérèse of MACOCO. - The resurrection of these two
women in Lagos ( Nigéria) is at the origin of the free purchase
of the ground on which is built our Church in this city. Named Thérèse
is at present in Porto Novo, fiancée to young Chrétien
Céleste.
[ZQYW1PÚ] The case of a 6 year old
young man resuscitated to Abéokouta ( Nigéria) in
the name of Jesus Christ in aroused a whole crowd of membership
in our Church.
[ZQYW1PÚ] The most recent case is that
of Melle. TINE BEHANZIN in Porto Novo.
[ZQYW1PÚ] Resurrection took place in
the presence of honorable witnesses as the father of the eminent
doctor Doctor WALCKOFF and Authorities of Police.
Let us turn the page of supernatural resurrections
to approach that of miracles.
Was there miracles? Certainly and cases are
there multiple. Let us quote among others that of Dékamè
in Abomey-Calavi's sub-prefecture: Indeed, we were in this village
when in broad daylight an owl came to glide over the head of a young
man who returned from the peach(fishing) with its reserve of fishes.
The rapacious bird suddenly seized one of the fishes and went to
perch on a cheese maker. Returned at the house, the boy was taken
by the sudden evil and died immediately. It is then that we learnt(taught)
That called a cheese maker is a tree dedicated to the magicians;
the owl being besides considered as the emblem of the witchcraft
and the occult forces.
From then on, I approached the tree, lit four
candles that I placed everything around the first-rate cheese maker
who frightened all the villagers and asked God to destroy(annul)
him(it) for ever.
The Eternal fulfillled my prayers and in the
big surprise of all a mysterious fire burst at the top of the cheese
maker and fired him(her,it) of the top in roots.
The fire burned during seven days and seven
nights and consumed completely the tree idol.
[ZQYW1PÚ] One can quote following the
history of the cheese maker of Dékamè, the pathetic
history of the idol of Passè to Dékin-Hounhuê,
the numerous cases of blind persons or disabled persons who recovered
the custom(usage) of their senses(directions), etc. …
But the list of miracles is not exhaustive,
one would not know how to exhaust him(it) in this particular case,
because force is us to choose to limit itself.
Let us evoke so to close this chapter,
the case of the born lame which cured of the infirmity in the name
of Jesus Christ, skips today of enjoyment in our Church from Yénawa
to Cotonou.
